Wheat Flour Snacks Recipe | Roti Potato Cutlets | Evening Snacks

Ingredient :

  • 2-3 cups of Wheat flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 4-5 potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli
  • 1 teaspoon termaric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Salt for taste

1st Step : How to Make Dough

  • Take 2-3 cups of wheat flour
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon oil
  • Knead the dough by hand for a good 10-15 minutes
  • Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for at least 20-30 minutes.

2nd Step : How to make Stuffing

  • Heat oil in a Kadai over medium flame.
  • Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds; when they start to crackle
  • Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder, salt saute for 30-40 seconds.
  • Mix it well.
  • Add boiled potatoes and smash them very well
  • Mix all ingredient well until smashed potato are evenly coated with Masala.
  • Turn off the flame. Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Last Step : 

  • Now roll out few balls from the prepared dough.
  • Once the chapatis get the perfect round shape, spread prepared stuffing all over the chapati and roll it.
  • Once rolling process completed cut them in small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan, place small pieces one by one and shallow fry both the sides.
